This two-day northern Tanzania safari combines two of the country most remarkable wildlife destinations. Your adventure includes Tarangire National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Tarangire is known for large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees and wildlife concentrated around the Tarangire River. Depending on the season, visitors may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and predators.

The following day your safari continues to Ngorongoro Crater. Descending into this enormous volcanic caldera provides one of Africa most remarkable wildlife experiences. The crater supports lions, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, elephants and many other animals. With good fortune, visitors may also encounter the endangered black rhinoceros.

Day 1 Tarangire National Park Safari

Travel to Tarangire National Park and spend the day exploring wildlife-rich areas around the Tarangire River. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and predators among the parks famous baobab landscapes.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After breakfast travel toward Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for an extensive wildlife game drive across the crater floor before beginning your onward or return journey.
